I'm Jay, the photographer.
I obtained my first camera when I was a young, highly energetic child. The idea of capturing moments in time and displaying a strong story or feeling in my images has consumed my thoughts to this day. In 2012 I made the large commitment of purchasing my first professional camera, and my skills (as well as my collection of photography gear) have been growing with JayPEG Photography ever since.
Raised in the very small town of Listowel, Ontario, with not much subject matter to be photographed, I learned how to implement a strong understanding of photography basics with the combination of creativity to bring photographs alive, no matter the occasion or event.
I'm particularly enthusiastic, with a tad pinch of crazy, and with a never-ending amount of puns, songs to sing, and an uplifting attitude. I'm here not only to deliver great images but to take the cold, awkward, and dry feelings too often associated with photography out of the picture.
